Spoils Coffer¶
The Spoils Coffer is a container that splits a pile of loot fairly among a group of players in one click — built for raids, dungeon runs, and shared farming where everyone deserves an even cut without trading items back and forth by hand.
Setting it up¶
The coffer only distributes when it's secured:
- Locked down (or secured) in a house, or
- Placed in your bank box.
Sitting loose on the ground or in your pack it's just an ordinary chest. Lock it down in a house (and set the secure access to whoever should be able to use it) or drop it in your bank, and it's ready.
Filling it¶
Double-click the coffer to open it like any container and drop loot in — gold, gems, reagents, weapons, armour, whole bags, anything. Everyone with access to the secured container can contribute.
Distributing¶
Right-click the coffer and choose Distribute Loot (or use the [spoils command) to open the distribution panel. There you:
- Pick recipients. The panel lists everyone eligible — your party, nearby players, online guildmates, and yourself — each tagged so you can see why they qualify. Tick the people who get a share, or use the quick-select buttons (+Party, +Nearby, +Guild, +Self, None). Offline recipients are flagged — their share goes straight to their bank.
- Choose options (below).
- Hit Distribute.
Loot is dealt out round-robin so the counts come out even (five items to three players is 2 / 2 / 1, not 5 / 0 / 0), and the "odd one out" rotates between distributions so the same person isn't always favoured. Items go to each recipient's backpack if they're online and have room, otherwise to their bank — nothing is ever lost.
Options¶
| Option | What it does |
|---|---|
| Divide gold to banks | Pools all the gold in the coffer and splits it evenly into each recipient's bank. Any remainder goes to you (the distributor). |
| Split stacks evenly | Divides each stack (gems, reagents, resources…) by quantity across recipients instead of handing the whole stack to one person. |
| Send everything to bank | Skips backpacks — every share goes to the recipient's bank. |
| Empty nested containers | Tips the contents of any bags inside the coffer out to the top level first, then hands the now-empty bags back to you. |
Splitting a boss fight's loot (fight roster)¶
After a boss kill the coffer can be stamped with that fight's roster so the loot only ever goes to the people who were actually there — no one can quietly cut in an alt.
- Bring the loot home and drop it in a secured coffer (see Setting it up).
- Run
[stamprosterand target the coffer. It stamps the coffer with the participant list of your most recent recorded boss fight. - Run
[spoilsrosterand target the coffer to split everything among that roster in one go — gold divided to banks, items dealt round-robin. Members who logged off still get their share in their bank.
While a roster is stamped, the coffer becomes roster-locked: even a normal [spoils distribution silently skips anyone who wasn't in the fight. Clear it by stamping a different fight (or it lifts on its own once the loot is gone). A coffer with no roster behaves exactly as before — free distribution to whoever you pick.
This pairs with Boss Encounters: the roster comes from the same per-fight record that
[bossresultsreads, so it works for both instanced raids and open-world bosses.
History¶
The panel's History tab keeps the last 20 distributions — when, who ran it, how many items and how much gold went out, and to how many players — so a group can see who's been splitting fairly. Clear it any time with the button on that tab.
Notes¶
- The person running the distribution must be within a few tiles of the coffer (you can't drain it from across the map).
- Distribution is fair and conserves loot exactly — a split stack always adds back up to the original amount.
