Dungeon Mount Stash¶
Every Lyonspyre dungeon is a no-mount zone — the classic dungeons (Covetous, Deceit, Despise, Destard, Hythloth, Khaldun, Shame, Wrong, Terathan Keep, Fire, Ice and the rest) included. The stash auto-dismounts you when you cross the dungeon boundary, remembers what you were riding, and puts you back on it when you walk out. No need to manually dismount before going in, no need to fish your figurine out of your pack on the way back to town.
How to use it¶
There's nothing to configure. Walk into any Lyonspyre dungeon region and:
- Your current mount is recorded.
- You're forcibly dismounted (ethereal mounts return to their figurine in your pack).
- The system message "Your mount cannot follow you into the dungeon." prints.
Walk back out and:
- The mount you were riding is restored.
- The system message "Your mount returns to you." prints.
Behaviour notes¶
- In-memory only. The stash lives in memory. If you log out inside the dungeon, your stash is lost — you'll reappear on foot and need to manually remount from your pack (ethereal figurine) or whistle for your tame.
- Restore is best-effort. If the mount was killed, released, or someone else snagged it while you were in the dungeon, the restore silently no-ops. Same if you manually remounted from your pack before exiting.
- You can't re-mount inside, either. Once you're in a dungeon, summoning or mounting anything — a tame, an ethereal figurine, a statuette — is refused with "You cannot summon a mount inside a dungeon." You explore dungeons on foot, period. (GMs are exempt.)
- Every dungeon inherits it. All dungeon regions on the shard pick up the stash + no-mount behaviour automatically — no per-dungeon configuration.
