Profile¶
The Profile panel is your character's home page. Open it with [profile, [lystats, [myprofile, or [buffs — all four land on the same tabbed window. Inside the panel you can review your character's full combat profile (offense / defense / utility totals + per-stat breakdown), browse your talent tree, manage your resonance assignments, edit your skill loadouts, save and load presets — and, on the front tab, see a snapshot of what your character has done over its lifetime.
What you'll see on the Profile tab¶
The front tab is a "show off your character" view. It has four sections:
-
Header. Your name, your descriptive class label, and a short bio.
-
Lifetime achievements. A seven-card grid that summarises your character's career. Most cards also show your server rank for that stat (e.g. "Server rank #14") — your standing against every other player, lifetime:
- Character created. The date your character was made, plus its age in days.
- Total gold earned. Lifetime sum of gold dropped by every monster you've killed. (Same source as the Gold Farmed leaderboard category.)
- Monsters killed. Lifetime count of monsters you (or your pet) have killed for credit.
- Player kills. Lifetime count of PvP kills where you were the killer.
- NPC ships sunk. Lifetime count of pirate / patrol vessels your fleet has sent to the bottom (see Naval Combat).
- Player ships sunk. Lifetime count of other players' ships your fleet has destroyed.
- Achievement points earned. Lifetime total of achievement points you've earned, with your server rank against every other player's lifetime total.
-
Quick access. Three buttons that jump to the Leaderboard, this wiki, and the in-game Help menu.
-
Sail Letters. Letter the sails of the boat you're standing on. Type up to 3 letters (A–Z), pick a colour from the swatch palette, and hit APPLY — the letters are painted across your sails for everyone nearby to see (south- and east-facing headings). Clear the text box and APPLY to remove them. Only the ship's owner can change a ship's lettering, and the card is disabled (with a hint) until you walk onto your boat. The lettering survives restarts and dry-docking. (Cosmetic; free for now.)
Lifetime counters — when do they start?¶
The lifetime gold + monster-kill counters share their data with the Leaderboard system; if your character was already showing a Lifetime number on the Leaderboard before the 2026-05-25 redesign, that's what you'll see here.
The Player Kills, NPC Ships Sunk, and Player Ships Sunk counters all started at zero on 2026-05-25 and accumulate forward from that date. There's no backfill — historical PvP kills or sea battles before that date aren't reconstructed.
Counters are scoped per character (not per account).
The other tabs¶
The Profile panel also hosts:
- Stats — offense / defense / utility totals + a per-stat breakdown showing exactly which talent / resonance / specialty contributes each percent.
- Talents — your full talent tree, region by region, with available-points badges.
- Resonance — assign and level up the resonance on each of your six gear slots.
- Skills — manage up to two skill + stat loadouts you can swap between with one click.
- Presets — four named save slots that bundle your talent + resonance configuration for atomic swaps between builds.
Every non-Profile tab has a small PROFILE button at the top right, so you're always one click from the lifetime snapshot.

Viewing another player's profile¶
You can show off your build to other adventurers — and they can show off theirs. Left-click any player to open their context menu and pick View Profile. The Profile panel opens on your screen and renders their public-facing data:
- Name, class label, bio
- Character age, lifetime gold earned, monsters killed, player kills
- Full talents tree (which talents and how many ranks)
- Resonance assignments and active levels
- Completed achievements + the first-completer ledger for each
- Active stat totals (offense / defense / utility)
A VIEWING: {name} band appears at the top of the panel while you're looking at someone else, with a RETURN TO MY PROFILE button on the right that flips you back to your own data.
What's not visible to other players:
- Your saved presets and their names
- Your saved skill loadout slots
- Your cooldown-bar rule preferences
- Hidden achievements you haven't completed yet (they stay "???" to viewers, same as on your own panel)
- Staff (counselors, GMs, etc.) cannot be viewed by players at all
The "View Profile" entry doesn't show up if you don't already have line of sight on the target (hidden characters stay hidden) and is rate-limited to one view per second per viewer so a bind-and-spam can't flood requests.
