Grid Loot

Open a corpse and the grid loot gump lays out every lootable item as a tile in a compact grid. Click a tile to pull that item into your loot bag (or your pack). It clears a corpse fast, without dragging items one at a time out of the container window.

Two toggles sit in the lower-right corner of the gump. Both are on by default and saved per character.

Block criminal looting

When checked, a click is blocked if grabbing that item would flag you as a criminal. Under Lyonspyre's rules, taking an item off an innocent (blue) corpse that isn't your own and isn't a party or guild member's flags you criminal - easy to do by accident mid-fight.

  • Checked (default): clicks on a blue, non-yours, non-friendly corpse do nothing, with a brief "blocked" message (rate-limited so rapid clicks don't flood your journal). Your own corpse, and any monster, criminal, or gray corpse, loots normally.
  • Unchecked: every click loots. Use this when you mean to take the flag.

Block friendly

When checked, a click on a friendly (green) corpse - a party member's or guildmate's body - is blocked. Looting a friend's corpse doesn't flag you criminal, but this toggle makes taking their gear a deliberate choice instead of a reflexive click during a recovery.

  • Checked (default): clicks on a party or guild corpse are blocked with a brief message. Toggle it off when you're intentionally helping carry a friend's gear out.
  • Unchecked: friendly corpses loot normally.

Your own corpse is never blocked by either toggle.

How it knows (and why it's reliable now)

The gump asks the server what a corpse is the moment you open it, and the server replies with the corpse's notoriety as it applies to you - blue, green-friendly, your own, or other. That's the same authoritative, per-viewer value the server trusts everywhere else, so the toggles hold up even for a corpse you walk up to long after its owner is gone, not just one whose death you happened to witness.

The server is still the final word

These toggles are convenience guards. The server decides whether an action actually flags you criminal; the checkboxes just stop the obvious blue and green cases before the click goes out.
